The Formula For Health and Sickness

Written By: Dr. Wegmann Poor health is not a single, cataclysmic event. We do not become unhealthy, overweight or sick overnight. Poor health is the inevitable result of an accumulation of poor thinking and poor choices. To put it more simply, poor health is nothing more than a few errors in judgment repeated every week. (i.e. fast food, ice cream, doughnuts, etc.) Now why would someone make an error in judgment and then be so foolish as to repeat it every week? The answer is because he or she does not think that it matters.

The beverage-tax proposal in addition to soda would apply to drinks that many Americans don’t consider unhealthy — such as PepsiCo’s Gatorade and Kraft’s Capri Sun — based on their calorie content.

Cheat Sheet–12 Food Additives to Avoid

By Jean Weiss for MSN Health & Fitness Whoever coined the term food additives had it all wrong. Including something new in a food doesn’t always add up to more, at least when it comes to your health. Studies that test the safety of additives are based on animal trials. It is difficult to deduce whether the results of an animal study equate to human health, though many of these studies show that some additives could be cancer-causing.
